Too many plot holes. Idk how advanced the civilization is, but close to making a ship that could travel to a blackhole or wormhole, there should already be a railgun, and laser should already be mature enough that it can be fitted to a small armored vehicles. After all, US navy is already using lasers to shoot down drones and airplanes. Don't tell me there are no engines or machines that can supply large amount of energy(electricity) when they're already close to traveling into a blackhole??? That's just one of it, there are still more I've noticed, like the fortress, the inefficient handling of human resources, maybe more in the next chapters. I know why the author wrote it like this, but the explanations doesn't make sense to an advanced civilization, it will make more sense or believable if you just keep the civilization the same as the present Earth. (it's not my fault if the advanced civilization in my mind is much higher than what you think, after all, traveling into a black hole is still far away in our technology tree) I still like the concept of the story tho. I've read enough novel with a lot of plot holes that I became numb of it, as long as I enjoy the story(as long as it won't get overboard).

I think the majority of readers in Webnovel are people who read one type of mc. e.g An MC who is weak and stupid in the first chapter then became strong, smart, calculative, and knows how to fight the same day he received a system or whatnot. I've been there too and one day you'll know why other people don't hate this kind of development

People we have also modern slavery, if your worldview has been shattered because of this thing then be thankful for living in a good and safe place. This is not that bad, there are novels out there with more severe scenarios/stories than this one(ofc if you read it carefully you'll know that Celine doesn't have bad intentions, unfortunately, you guys didn't).

It just shows that the world is not full of rainbows and unicorns, that everything just go the way you want it and be happy. It was explained in the past chapters that dark magicians are not liked by everyone and Will has been warned too. It was also explained that this was their culture and you said it yourself that we have modern slavery and you want this world to not have one??? The law system we have is more advanced than the noble system but we still have slavery. I'm pretty sure dark magicians have a reason why they have this kind of initiation.

Scratched the stamina, it looks like players can be tired too. But I feel like stamina was not properly explained during the fights, only after the fight was over.

Or both systems are not yet perfect since people have different stamina and mana was a new type of energy in the body. Or the devs intentionally let it be to collect more information to players in the early beta test since it will hinder the progress of the players(which is not a good plan IMO). Or since all skills, this early didn't mana need to activate.

And I don't see any mana consumption for any skills Merlin has. I don't even know how much mana the MC has, even his stamina too. Will there be any explanation for the mana in the future, because that will be a big plot hole. Unless both mana and stamina systems are not yet incorporated in the game.

But does blade become dull if it's covered in blood? I don't see any article saying blood affect the sharpness of the blade, or maybe I searched it wrong.
