And on top of that, the man was getting incredibly angry at being interrupted and attacked like this now, especially when it was just getting good. If it was just sitting around there like that, then the elderly man would surely be able to do his best and try to overwhelm him, right? I know native Americans would boil, dilute, and cook food until it was barely barely even itself anymore and have someone eat it (usually an elderly person, but it was always a volunteer) and then they would slowly work their way backwards towards just straight eating it. If there were symptoms at any point they just gave up on the food source and no one truly got that sick at any point because of them processing it first

I personally hate comments that mock “weak minded” mc’s for not killing because we all know the commenter probably couldn’t even kill an animal much less a person
