I’ll give Rose one thing she sure is determined and persistent, she’s come out in the losing end of just about every fight and power play she’s been involved in this entire book and now she’s going up against high lords and the council and still believes she going to stomp them.

Wouldn’t it have made more sense to have turned in the blackmail since the beginning when Damien first got involved in all of this? I know your saying Rose is smart and making plans but all it seems like she’s doing is reacting to other peoples plans. Even going back to her fight with Elena she left her alive after telling her she’d kill her the next time she messed with Blake and because she didn’t follow through with that Blake’s gone missing.

I’m starting to feel like this story has too many plot holes for example, it’s been months since the accident and Rose still has the company and different properties that she wants to liquidate but there’s no mention of the bad press or the reporters that are ruining the company. They brought several things to light in a couple days but now they haven’t done anything in months? Did she already dispose of them but it wasn’t talked about? Or are they actively still sobatoging her and if so how is there still a company?

That seems like a pretty random statement from Blake and out of character too, if he had his memories then it would make sense for him to fight back against her with them but he still has no idea what’s going on
