ngl, but everything in this 1st chapter is confusing af. The 1st person POV of the MC has repetitive quips that makes it very annoying to read. And the dialogue is so disorganized that I had to read a few lines back to clearly see who's talking. I wanna see how this story goes though.

For the past few days I've only been reading 18+ novels in this app and being down bad online so suddenly transitioning to a novel that is sometimes wholesome, sometimes angsty, and sometimes deep is a breath of fresh air. I can honestly say that how Ike reacted to most things are very realistic albeit if it is a person with his kindness and compassion that is, the dialogues in this novel flow smoothly, and the scenarios and detail that you write are very vivid that it doesn't take too much brain power to visualize what you're trying to portray. Solid 10/10 for me, keep up the great work!

It's so good! It's kinda rough at the start due to the MC's personal feelings and setbacks but it honestly enhanced the whole fic even more because of how real it feels. I mean, you don't just wake up in a fictional world without getting existentially conflicted right? Anyways, it has really good dialogue, pacing is a bit weird at times, and the MC so far is likable. In my opinion, I know I'm a really late on this, but this shouldn't be called gamer's mind if its not the original gamer's mind skill. The gamer's mind skill is always known throughout the gamer fics community as something that can help you calm yourself, think rationally, can help mental disorders, and others. If it only checks out on one ability, it is already a different skill, naming it gamer's mind just confuses readers and mistakenly points them out later in the fic because the gamer's mind skill in this fic isn't the same traditional gamer's mind skill.

Allison is just a walking contradiction at this point. Dating ryan was too soon for her but dating scott was ok? She really seems to like ryan and feels that she needs him more than scott but at the same time she needs to give scott a chance? This whole chapter doesn't really give the girls some justice with their actions. I'll still continue to read though, but this chapter overall was just useless. Thanks for the chapters though!

Same. I liked them at the start but at this point in the story the author just butchered my opinion on the both of them lol. Author should've just went slow because at the first place, it doesn't really make sense that allison fell for scott when they hardly interacted at the start. Just seems like a forceful move to get in track with the original plot.
