The grandmother reminds me of the mother of a Hong Kong singer. She thought girls were worthless too. If Su Yan had died and not kept her anything, the grandmother would no doubt keep trying to contest the will to get at the estate, wasting millions.

I loved this graphic novel from start to finish. Once I started I could not put it down. The romance between the two mains was compelling and carried the story forward very well. All rhe character conflicts just added layers to the story, with the twists that you both expected and did not expect. Good job! 👍

I loved every minute of this graphic novel, but I would have preferred to read more of what happens after Jing's wedding and before the reunion.
