Yeah, you're right. Logic will rarely trump emotion when it comes to personal beliefs. Even a "logical" person's beliefs are centered on emotion. I guess I just don't like being confronted with a situation where logic doesn't matter simply because emotions are involved.

Good, and Evil are subjective; if I do good for one person and at the same time I harm another person, even if I don't know I did it, for the person I harmed I will be considered 'evil', and for the person I helped, I'll be considered 'good'.

But you see, that's my point. By definition, if someone can have a differing opinion on a topic, then that topic is subjective. If a point is objective, it is factual, uninfluenced by personal feelings or opinions. By saying morals are objective because he feels like they are, it is against the definition of objectivity.

I still stand by my point that morals are completely subjective, but it is a stupid argument on both sides in hindsight.

True, but there 3 chapters a day. That's pretty amazing, so a couple chapters being short isn't that much of a problem.

Never underestimate old people. The only way someone can live that long in the cultivation world is if they're supremely powerful.

I aint sayin thats me. It's just common in novels for powerful people to torture those weaker for nothing but entertainment. Like a child using a magnifying glass to kill an ant hive.

"Why did you give him "the upgrade"? That soul was reincarnated in a very dangerous place and the client didn't give him the blessings... Besides, the bastard blocked the physical statistics distribution function and access to the system store. He was doomed from the first moment he reincarnated... Why did you risk it?"

It's less her post-tablet state as it is Leonel's post-tablet state. He's finally matured passed his wandering state, but Aina is stuck. She was forced to mature very early in life, and her mental state hasn't changed once since she was a child. She basically has a strange mixture between an adults mind and a childs, which makes it really difficult for her to grow.

I'm not gonna go into the details that are truly important about this book because many other have before me. Imma talk about one very, very prominent part of this story though, and thay is the relationship between Leonel and Aina. It is a Rollercoaster of emotions just for the reader, not even mentioning the characters themselves. It's as compelling as it is complicated. From Leonels unexplainable attraction to her that even he doesn't know where it came from, to Aina's terror of another person abandoning her, to Leonels conflict between his goal and purpose that causes him to put himself in constant danger vs the desire to just run away with Aina, it destroys the reader from the inside because we're the only ones that know what is going on inside both of their heads. It's deep on another level, but I have no idea if there will be a happy ending or not. That scares me more than I can describe.

I somehow missed the joke in your comment. I feel very stupid.

Then she continues, "She can fight a vampire who is over 500 years old easily, the last report I heard about Mizuki was from Japan where she had single-handedly eliminated 10 Clans of noble Vampires. Japan's noble vampires aren't as strong as those in the Romanian community, but even so, that's an impressive feat."

Oh absolutely, an infamous leader will only ever gain their infamy through militaristic exploits, and only a successful kingdom can have a strong military. If the kingdom wasn't successful, it would collapse in on it's own rising power. So that goes to say that it's a given he was a good leader, especially one well loved by his people. He just showed no mercy to those that weren't his people, like most good leaders did at that time.

The problem is there are so many topics that have been explained in the past that are still waiting to be explored. It's like the author switched partway through and we're reading someone else write this story with no prior knowledge of it.

I've given this novel a lot of love for a while now, but there has been a severe drop in quality recently. Incredibly severe. The summit arc has dragged on for far too long with barely anything happening. The main characters gets little to no screen-time, with most of it being taken up by old foggies no one cares about arguing and Lin Ming being a bitch. When there finally seems to be a worthwhile development happening with Wei Wuyin, he fucking disappears for months to years. It's annoying as all hell. He does practically nothing. He doesn't wven concoct his own products, istead teaching someone else to do it as to "Hide his talent." Bullshit. The world background and cultivation system in this is still godtier, but the story is in a really bad quality drop right now.

that doesnt change that morals are subjective. Everyone has a different set of morals, whether you like it or not.

THATS YOUR POINT OF VIEW. Y O U DONT SEE IT AS A GOOD DEED. THAT MEANS ITS SUBJECTIVE! If you specifically dont see it as a good deed, but other people can see it as a good deed, that means its subjective!
