I’m also curious the reasoning on them being on the same side of history, if Raymond knows in advance about massive tragedies and just lets them happen.

Also humans were the ones who wanted to hold back information to let a calamity wipe out an entire generation of the nichols just to be able to have a more advantagous position in their negotiations. Khan did the majority of the gruntwork with cleaning that mess. It could have been prevented.

That was an easy way to see which of them have been coddled too much. They’ve only been in the political game and haven’t seen anything else. Their combat ability only comes from the training that’s curated for them. I know Khan doesn’t have time and it might not even be a benefit for him, but he could teach his classes to the descendants around him that he taught to the cadets. Stick them in a box with some monster and see what they can do, if anything. It’d be a good laugh for him and George though.
