I’m definitely unsure how he confirmed his mother wasn’t dead, especially since it states his tests of using the poly juice potion on body would revert back after he healed it (because it’s unstable) so that definitely meant the body his “mother” he healed and confirmed to dead was intact not altered just to look like her imagine ?

I enjoy how at this point in the story pretty much all the ”side” characters were killed off so they didn’t have to be written about anymore for the sake of relevance

Just use time spell and return to before they went to the outpost and they can literally avoid this issue. It’s not like he can’t use a dumb amount of magic still the sentientals could use do it for him
