Well the way I see it, in just the dragon temple arc we have been introduced to a lot of the presumably major multi-arc plot points. Like the bloodline/reincarnation, the tensions within his family(admittedly this is the most minor), puplic cultivation in his world(another relatively minor one), Great One legacy, and higher heaven factions. Now I absolutely love world building, but this feels rushed. These are things that are going to probably be present for the majority if not all the story. The first to fall will more than likely be the family issues, but I imagine they will last for at least another hundred chapters. Too much, too fast, makes the story seem too fragmented before being able to really settle even the start of each topic. But again this is just the opinion from my perspective on the story as a whole. I greatly enjoy the authors writing, even if the only comments I make are compaints.

Honestly, it's getting a bit too scattered with the story. There is so much going on, but also so much left unresolved. It seems like the author is rushing and yet trying to keep information about Yuan mysterious. We can broadly see where the story is going and it still feels directionless. Just how I feel personally obviously. No hate on the author, I'm obsessed with both their books. Just a bit of satisfaction on some plot points, without gaining seven more, would be nice.
