That said, Brangara is really miserable, if you change the perspective a bit something like this can be imagined: He was read as the ultimate villain of Sumatra only for retaliating against the slaughter (and bizarre cannibalism) committed by the Mammoth Clan and, clearly coming from a trauma, he imposes his power over the other races by killing them. Now, he just wanted to start a Family, and his bad luck as a villain made him choose the strongest wife, but one who would eventually recover her memories of Future Vision, memories related to her current husband massacring a city of Free Humans, including her parents. Not forgetting that seeing his children killed/kidnapped one by one is also very traumatizing. If he wasn't Mystic grade and had a powerful mind, I would almost totally believe it, but the fact that his story is so gray is what enchants me about this antagonist, it's very well written Mr. Anvelope haha
Sweet, all important people will stand against Virala/Loot now... if they play this well, they can expose Loot's existence to the Empire and make him a public enemy; the best case scenario is to also expose his abilities, and have Yarsha create something against Loot's Nature
Wait, he's going to touch the stone -> he's not going to find any information (about the Dance of Annihilation) -> he's going to go back to the mansion, and realize that he can't enter anyone anymore? idk, I'm reading this with a sleepy mind, I barely remember the previous 3 chapters 💀💀
