remember time flows slower outside of his domain than inside. meaning he can stretch the 14 days over a longer period. and if you also remember he moved his entire forge building(aka avalon) into his domain, that feat is what unintentionally unlocked void travel for him.😅

the idea of having a monopoly on a crop is very stupid. first off anyone can just import the seeds and grow their own and your monopoly is over, second if you did somehow manage to stop them from importing seeds whats stopping them from just paying off one of the farmers to get the extra seed, third if they do either of these the only way to ensure the monopoly would be to get aggressive and go raid the people farming the wheat, thereby breaking the agreement with the innkeepers.
Of course not many people knew that wheat was what most of their food was comprised off, but Alistair was all to hung up on the possibility of them being the monopoly on wheat and flour in the Bahrenburg wildlands. Rezar nodded his head as he paid attention to the mills that were slowly being sprung up around the edges of the farmland.
