I honestly don't know how to answer this, but, see it however you deem fit... To help, I'll just say Damien spent decades without the person he cared for the most, without knowing why, or how. I don't see why he won't use whatever trick in the book to try and keep her for himself... More so, when she's still just a naive 15 yr old girl

Basically, to summarize, the first two hundred or so chapters are like the base foundation of the story... while the next 1,000 chapters focus on the whole world. Since the book world is very large, Damien and Juliette alone cannot cover the whole world, thus why the need for Protagonists and stuff

The MC is Damien and Juliette... and there are 36 Protagonists who are major characters
