Bloodline is only bound to soul for Morning Stars and above, meaning Rank 4 Magi. At Rank 3, whenether it's newly advanced or Crystal Stage there is still some leavege to change bloodline through some means. What you're talking about is when MC already advanced for Rank 4 and killed Demon Hunter Cyril before taking Sun Child bloodline (that sword with meditation technique) from his spatial ring.

Rank 4 and Rank 5 beings need high enough vitality to hold their soul force which he should know, so i think it's better to use another wording here, like he run out of options for body cultivation at this point etc.

It's peak Rank 1 being which is told in chapter 325. What you talking about is likely Arwen from chapter 609, but he is not an Icy Jade Scorpion Emperor.

I think author meant quality of spirital force, which heavily declines after taking too many potions in short span of time. In Twilight Zone I remember him not taking potions for almost a decade due to this, and then in Central Continent several times as well for even longer.

From what I remember, Super-Tier spells could be learned at 71 level at minimum (7 levels for each rank +1 level you started with).
Also, Magic Casters who wanted to learn this Super-Tier magic had to reach level 95 first.
