This novel takes quite an interesting take on the cultivation world, with there being and organisation to manage cultivators and the complicated relationship between the organisation and the sects/families. The cases that were presented atleast in the free chapters were quite different from each othere represting the range this novel may offer. The plot of the cases seem interesting and the analysis and evaluation at the end of the first case was just awesome. And not all cases seem to be deep and schematic, some were just simple misunderstanding and a little funny, which provided a bit of comic relief. The main character and the supporting characters are defined well enough that it wouldn't be hard to enjoy them apart from each other. MC is quite an oddball though, more in a funny way and surprisingly enough very stern when needed whithout it being an out of character thing for him. I really would suggest reading till the end of the first case, and his evaluations. After that you can decide whether to continue. I don't usually write reviews but it seemed like a good novel and lacked reviews, so here I am. And yeah, the writing was quite detailed and grammar... everything written by a human seems heavenly to me after geeting deep into mtl and raws so idk about that. That's all. Have a nice day.
This novel is pretty good with a prudent MC. Although he is good but not naive. Isn't arrogant and knows what to do in a troublesome situation, knows when to bow his head and knows when to shut his mouth. It's actually a quality rarely seen in 'MC' generally. The world building goes in depth and even shows how fruit seller markets work. The important side characters that I've seen till now do have different personalities and have differences. Butler, maids, his friend, etc. Try first 10-15 chapters, I'm pretty sure you'll like it. And yeah, MC doesn't look like a skirt chaser yet.
The story and it's development are the darker versions of what usually happens in a OP mc goes to academics novels. Similarly MC is awsome, smart and cold blooded, but not that cold blooded because he has reasons to get excited and likes to torture. He has connections with various girls like in an isekai but her actually does them, but it's merely a deal, so not a harem. More like a dark isekai. Most of the important side characters have their own goals, and are willing to do whatever they can for them. I think the downside here might be (in the future) that all the men are hot headed fools and all the women are easy(atleast for MC). If the author skips this then this novel will have a very bright future. Till my review, only 26 chapters have been released, you should atleast try them, you'll not be disappointed.
Well... I quite like this novel. So, here are a few replies to your concerns. First of all, about the WMW power system. Rank 1 - Transform your spiritual power to your element. Rank 2 - Visualise your spiritual power. Rank 3 - solidify it. Rank 4 - Transform your spiritual power to soul power. Rank 5 - Fill your soul with soul power. Rank 6 - Soul is overfilled with soul power and get into a law. Rank 7 - Learn a law. Rank 8 - Learn multiple law and then find a path. Rank 9 - Learn space-time duo and integrate it into your path. Some things mentioned above happen on a stage or are needed to get into a stage. Been a long time since read WMW(correct me if I am wrong). On the other hand, in this novel, even though the system hasn't been specified much after rank 3, below that rank, a Wizard needs to create a new spell that no one in the all 5 Wizarding world has ever created. It has to be unique. I can't even stress enough how tough that is. Almost in every novel, every MC and others too just copy the spells/cultivation techniques of other. Even in the novels where MC creates a new technique, he's almost less than 0.1% of the people there who have ever created something. So, just imagine how difficult it would be for everyone to create a new unique spell in history or no matter what you do, you'll stay on your rank.
