A valid concern. Though i must say, how many people really stay the same as they were all throughout their lives? People change over time, thats called gaining experience and growing up, and a person is never done growing up despite what they might tell you. In other words, Its okay to change a little bit, even if it is scary sometimes. I think what they really want is to not lose their previous experiences as they have helped define who they are today.

Youre making a lot of assumptions there. for one, depending on what the soul is defined as, it might not care about its bessel at all. and two, souls dont have genders, as the only definitions i know that exist are those that refer to the body itself and the social constructed views of gender.

Every time i read things like this i cant help but be thankful for the (relatively) kind and nice neighborhoods ive grown up in.

I feel like the balance of this Novel just doesnt exist. Such a waste... before it was acceptable because Shiro had the experience and skill to overcome raw power of weaklings who just happened to control more energy than her, but at this point its like nothing has any meaning since Shiro will just rush through everything and win everything. Powerscaling just doesnt exist anymore and the adrenaline rush that fights used to have just arent present anymore. Im quite disappointed. I hope Reili learns from this to do better in the futurr.
