It takes forever to make gingerbread houses. You got to make the dough, then bake two molds per house usually, plus you'll need to wait for the molds to cool a little between bakes, All told its much more common to bake and freeze all the walls/roofs/chimneys in advance since its a lot of hours of baking if you're gonna be making more than 1-2 houses.
