No, it's a weird obsession, and a hypocrite behavior.. just look at all random ff, the author are all obessed by the fact that the FMC are virgines even after being in some kind of relationship before meeting the MC, but after starting going out with the mc they will loose that ''precious'' virignity.. what's traditionnal about this ? what make them think that the MC is the ONE and not their ex ? no one only the author who will try to describ that said ex as a trash who don't deserve the FMC and explaine to the reader that she didn't sleep with him cause he was a TRASH while the MC is the alpha male who deserve to take this precious virginity and the prefect sentence to describe this weird obsession is : Inferioirty complexe
