It would be like science but with easier exploitable shortcuts to doing things

Zorian shrugged. Personally he found learning about magic and gathering knowledge in general to be fun all by itself, but he knew all too well that very few people shared this opinion with him.

I’m tempted to do so and just post it online. Having a less sh*tty translation to save everyone’s brain cells

the first book’s translation was perfect, you can’t blame this on cuttlefish’s work or language proficiency

The Water Cannon, of astonishing alacrity and proximity, penetrated Lumian's fiery shroud, impinging upon his form. As a consequence, Lumian's physique began exhibiting telltale signs of liquefaction.

Even if that was the case, the translator should have half the brain required to realize that maybe directly translating it into uncommon words is stupid

The Fire Ravens promptly surged toward the two Guillaume Bénets, demonstrating no clemency.

I am half-tempted to create an unf*cked version of the translations by rewriting them to be less ret*rded. Perhaps with a few people it can be done

Elevating his right hand, Lumian summoned into being a host of crimson Fire Ravens that swirled about him.

It’s the translator ruining it all of the sudden. I wouldn’ be surprised once everyone catches up to here the novel’s ranking tanks heavily. Sad thing to see

This is probably worse than machine translated… worst-case scenario would have to pump the chapters into chatgpt4 and ask it to unf*ck the wording

The choice of words isn’t the main problem it’s the frequency of it and the awful choice of timing to use them at

If she were compelled to encapsulate the magic and articulate her sentiments, a choice of expletives might have been used.

"nevertheless, absent the means to nullify it or godhood, piercing through the illusion remained beyond reach." this is most definitely AI generated, the last part makes it sound like it thinks the character's goal is to see through the illusion due to lack of context given to the AI... this literally could have been shortened to "the ability is good enough against most low level beyonders"

"Niese" had been the name of the Human-Faced Mantis during its living days. The essence of this ability leaned more toward illusion than corporeal transformation. Nevertheless, absent the means to nullify it or godhood, piercing through the illusion remained beyond reach.

I think the translator might very well be using AI now…I hope not but that’s sad. One common sign of AI text is pointlessly wordy paragraphs or use of many uncommon words for no reason (like when someone grabs a thesaurus and just replaces a bunch of words from their writing with synonyms)

At noon, Lumian ate two savory meat pies and drank a glass of Apple Whiskey Sour. Seated at the table, he engaged in earnest perusal of the bestiary chronicling the spirit world creatures.

Amon is at most sequence 2 if I remember correctly… he might have climbed back up to seq1 but Klein is so much stronger than when he first fought him so even if he’s asleep he can deal with him

Could the situation be that grave? Lumian's pupils dilated. Swiftly producing an additional candle, he hastily constructed the altar.

Except the laborer never benefits. Wage theft is the most prominent **feature** of capitalism

Lumian slid his hands into his pockets and surveyed Baron Brignais, akin to an artisan observing a laborer. He beamed and uttered, "I'm indifferent to who benefits, as long as I accomplish my objective."

Honestly can’t he tell K that he’s hunting down a heretic and would appreciate some cooperation

Relying solely on Pyromaniac, even in collaboration with Franca, now a Demoness of Pleasure, and the support of Anthony Reid and Jenna, prevailing against the padre's uncanny abilities remained tenuous. Victory might be attainable, but apprehending the adversary without incurring losses was a near-impossible endeavor—except if he enlisted the assistance of the Aurora Order Oracle via Mr. K's finger.

The cathedral had a simple layout, devoid of gold embellishments or intricate machinery. The most remarkable aspect was its numerous windows, allowing natural light to illuminate the interior without the need for candles and gas lamps even before nightfall.

Then the term omniscient and omnipotent doesn’t apply to such a fraud. What kind of “god” resorts to such a solution. If they are as powerful as they say they are then they wouldn’t have needed to claim suffering is necessary
