Great fanfic, the characters are not mere caricatures but feel real. And the mc himself is awesome as well. He truly is experiencing the tyranny of the caged bird seal, and let me tell you. He does not enjoy it, nor does he have some notion of reconciliation with the clan or Konoha for that matter. Give it a try if you want to read something a little unique.

Well at least you're straight up and honest now. This contains an anti-hero at best wishy-washy villain mc. There's no need to make his characterization to complicated. The fact that a 100 year-old Man, can somehow come to love a woman as manipulative as his own mother in a matter of a couple of years is baffling. Not even a 13-year old orphan can acclimate this quickly to a complete stranger.

Honestly it's a bit of a slog for me. I don't read that novel anymore.
