Within each slime was a fist-sized, spherical crystal. This was their everything. One crushing blow to that core, and a slime died, which is why they are considered the weakest.

so, this makes me wonder. Was Malik's skill already at the level of godslayer, or did he leave the crystal behind simply because he consumed crystal? What would a full on godslayer with this power be able to do? Interesting idea.
