I wonder if by becoming banished from Fate, he also became banished from Weaver’s greatest creation, the Nightmare Spell. He might reopen the ancient ways of awakening. Thus allowing humanity to awaken without the spell

Why does it have to be a tragedy? Don’t always expect a reason behind someone madness. A psychopath isn’t necessarily "made". Some people are just born that way.
Even Mordret's presence did not dampen the peaceful mood. He was nothing if not accommodating, even pleasant to be around. I think you might be right, but that would make the resident of the river essentially immune to aging unless they change location. So how would she have grown up in Weave?

Sunny who freed Hope in is second nightmare 👀 He still believes the Spell creates alternate timeline for the nightmare but now we know that the Spell was created to save humanity by Weaver, the Deamon of Fate. It’s quite conceivable at this point in the story that they do travel back in time. Think about it, out of spite he put Solvane in eternal agony in is second nightmare until he killed her in the present time. I think he was truly sent back in time… I’m not saying that Weaver control Fate, merely that he created the tool that was fated to be created.

Why didn’t it use its speed to escape instead of sacrificing its lifespan? I mean, animals tend to avoid fights they can’t win.
