I have never read a more unlikable MC. If you want to read a story about an MC that is basically a villain that cares only for power while sacrificing, letting die, or outright killing any person he has a good relationship with, this book is for you. I give credit to the interesting world the author built and the complexity in which the MC developed; however after reading 550+ chapters of a sociopath killing indiscriminately to get stronger, that was enough for me. I would've been more okay with the MC having a few close friends that were also sociopaths getting stronger together. At least there would have been relationships to enjoy. Humans are social creatures and I find it hard to believe or relate to that a person could be so able to cut themselves off from everyone. I regret not reading the lower rated reviews before paying for so many chapters. Read at your own risk!
I think if the MC is going to put his greed for power above EVERYTHING and use it as his reasoning for obviously questionable choices, he should just play that role 100%. Be a villan. Then there is no confusion for us readers on what moral path you are choosing to tread. We can then decide on if we want to follow your journey.
If this is a permanent character trait, idk if I can follow his journey. Seems ungrateful to me. Thanking someone for something you're thankful for is too much work? đ¤ˇđ˝ââď¸

Couldn't be just hunt nightmare creatures in the Waking world to grow stronger?
I don't understand. If he didn't want to use his in-game name, why not just make up a random name than ussing his real name? Smh
