From what I’ve heard, China has been heavily investing in north and central Africa. Not sure if it’s entirely beneficial or not, since all we get here are supremely biased sources of news that are all basically propaganda masquerading as unbiased reporting. I’ll ask a friend of mine next time I see her; she’s native Nigerian and still living there, so she’s the best source I can think of for how things are actually going with the China-Africa partnership.

Does Korea import a lot from any country in africa? I mean, Africa as a whole is pretty rich in mineral resources, but I’m not sure if any of the countries there have developed a mining industry. If anything, my gut feeling is that colonizers and “investors” have been the ones historically doing the mining, perhaps like China is now. But that’s just a gut feeling and I haven’t done the research.

Lol I don’t know anyone that speaks Korean at all, much less to the point where they know niche slang like this. I mean, the Hangul syllabary/alphabet fascinates me, but not to the point where I’m willing to learn a sixth language.

Chapters are all around 1000 words. Some are ~1100ish, this one is 1030 words exactly. I think they sometimes seem shorter because they contain a lot of dialogue. Dialogue-heavy chapters, for some reason, just read quicker.
