HOORAY~
then it shouldn't be in quotationmarks
why not do it now? 🥲 It's probably because of politics, but still... I want him dead so badly
The dark elves migrated into the Roan Kingdom, and the only necromancer alive is part of Cale's party.
and if we're on that topic, "hand," too, is a metaphor for ones most primitive desires. Like infants reaching out their hand to grab onto fingers or pointing at things. Like holding someone back without even realising why. The hands are faster than the mind.
for experts in fantasy novels, the weapon is an extension of themselves. So, in that context, it means the swordsman in him. It's like everyone has different facets of themselves. (a different example would be a parent)
Raon Miru supremacy~
They seem to have healed him some more. Back at the George of Death, he had trouble even standing with a staff, using both his hands. Earlier, before the second battle, he could stand with the staff in one hand and quite stable at that.
my mind just randomly created a Cale×Clopeh situation of them being "very friendly" with each other.
"on this continent" 😂😂😅
they said the Alchemie Bell Tower is a core organisation of the secret organisation, while the white star is the overall boss.
Now that you mention it, that's a valid plan. Then, the imperial prince has to save the damsel in distress named Duke Huten 😂😂
maybe they'll use him to drag the imperial prince out
Duke Huten asked about the fiery thunderbolt, so he should have seen Choi Han's fight too. It could be that he can't judge the upper limit of CH's strength.
Cale is just playing mind games to try to get Harol into admitting that he'd want the help of mages.
A good person isn't someone who kills people by impulse because of self-founded justice. That's just someone with no self-control. A good person would think about how to better the situation and design a plan for that. What comes after killing the king? Killing the rest of the nobels and officials? That might feel refreshing and create a clean start, but the Kingdom will drown in chaos with no management system right before the outbreak of a war with an opponent much superior to them.
they had a justification for destroying the mage tower, but there is none for destroying the royal family. At least for now, they need the royal family, nobels, and officials to keep the citizens united. A reform requires intense work and time, and the looming threat of war doesn't grant them the luxury of investing that time.
*empathise
Per definition, a lack of conscience and empathy, disregard for rules and norms, and impulsive and aggressive tendencies are all common traits of a sociopath. Cale has very social motivations for his actions. The people he takes in are broken in one way or another. He can't leave them behind or disregard them because he can emphasise with their pain. Plus, he said he wants the people around him to be happy. Only then can his mind be at peace.
it's quite the dumb question to ask, true. Sometimes, Cale seems a bit naive. He doesn't seem to be too familiar with the viewpoint of someone who experienced slavery. Maybe, for reasons, he doesn't want to understand.
