The radiation is called supremium and its from the backstory of a character named Supreme. It's pretty much what gives him superpowers. This is just used to enhance the MC's already similar powers in this fic.

It's just getting mad to the point that it'll harm you. And it doesn't matter if the enemy doesn't have emotions to amplify, it gives them that emotion and amplifies it. It's actually pretty nutty what you can do with something as strange as anger/wrath manipulation.
