I don't think so. If you include awakening then sure, but awakening alone is enough to change everything. If you don't include awakening lith is still a way worse forgemaster than Orion, a way worth healer than Manohar, a way worth necromancer than Balkor,... It get's even worth when you factor in that half his spells are not (yet) turned into fake magic.

She can only mess with lith by enabeling other to mess with him out of their own violition. So unless she finds someone who is desperate enough to take her she is stuck with him. In adition no one else has the potential to disrupt his family that much.

I am very surprised there aren't 50+ messages here already. I do not understand why he even knows about the tower, nor whay Kamila and lith puting their relationship on ice has anything to do with this. The only guess is a shot so far I might as well shoot myself in the back: It is the husband of Mirims daughter. He is an archmage, knows Mirims' (and Larks') protections and after mirim died and after the relationship between Lith and Kamila seemingly ended and Mirim died he has problems in his mariage and his power (social and/or financial) is weakened?
