In actuality either works. This is because “mi casa es su casa” and “mi casa es tu casa” , their unabrieviated forms, both translate to my home is your home. A key factor to consider however is the fact that “su” is the formal more respectful version of “tu” which is only really used with friends and younger relatives, due to this is why “mi casa su casa” is the correct phrase and you are wrong on both accounts.
