jd12701686hReplied to sgcuddlebugWe moved into a foreclosure after my husband and I got married and I was pregnant. It was inexpensive enough (yay government grant to buy foreclosures). Technically you’re supposed to have a tub to sell a house in my state, but because it was a foreclosure, it was sold as is. So there’s a shower (1” ledge) wnd a handicapped rail in the shower and next to the toilet. Both have come in handy over the years. Helped me keep balanced when pregnant and helped the kids lean back to have their hair washed.

Oh no! My dad broke his elbow a few years ago and it still isn’t great. If he’s carrying something in that hand, it’ll sometimes jerk violently. So he learned to stop carrying his coffee in that hand

He treated Adam like he was a person even with his face. He had obviously been afraid of him before. Was it the toys? Did bribery work especially well on this kid? Adam would have to remember that. - jd127016820hCommented
My son loved candy corn until 1st grade. They were using candy corn as “counters” in math and doing a group activity with them. Everyone was touching them. They were going from group to group. So basically everyone in the class touched all of them. My son piped up and asked if they could eat them. The teacher said yes (but should have said no). He ate some. Got very ill, vomiting etc, and missed trick or treating. Noe he won’t eat it any more

I’m very particular about mayo. I only like it on a BLT. Any other time 🤮. I don’t like ketchup unless it’s an ingredient in something where you can’t taste it.

My husband’s is blue/yellow and his brother’s is green/purple. I’m partial to deep reds and purples , but I also like the deep pink/purple of my Japanese lily tree when it blooms

Amazon always has OPI polish on sale. Only one color at a time though so you gotta keep checking
Cherry red specifically. There was this particular nail polish she wanted in that shade but it cost $13 so she could never justify the expense. That was ridiculous for a tiny bottle of nail polish. - jd12701681dReplied to WalkerBoh

When I was a kid we would boil the eggs, dye the eggs, then hide the eggs. Several hours later we would find the eggs and crack them open and eat them. So yeah. Eggs that had been sitting outside in the heat for several hours. And we’d eat them.

Gotta be careful about not visiting your stuff my mom did that and she went to put something else in her unit and found a leak in the ceiling and I had completely ruined the sofa. She took pictures and since the office was closed she was going to email them. She forgot. She went back a month later and the leak was fixed but her couch was still ruined. Luckily she was able to file an insurance claim since she had take pictures!
Stepping foot inside the storage unit was strange. Joy hadn't seen any of this stuff since she originally put it in here. She had been a completely different person when she last used this furniture. A normal, happy wife and mother. - jd12701681dCommented
