The same could be said about naruto's decision to be the ruler of a village that hated and abused him throughout his childhood. He could've gotten recognition by just being a strong ninja. He wanted to rule over these worthless people.(they didn't deserve him)

if they wanted to "pass the fire". they would've kept the youngest alive and absolutely break and brainwash them to be loyal bitches to the village. Make their future leaders be puppets. They only kept Sasuke alive to be the only hope of the super clan and he went through so many close calls.
I really don't respect Itachi at all. The guy who betrayed his family, someone like that is beyond trash to me. Hmm.. I really am hypocritical.
