Nnenna_Obi_11433mthPostedAt first, I liked the book because the FL has a straightforward character but I dislike the ML cuz he’s too headstrong and overbearing. I hate the way he speaks to his mum and friends. He has no sense of respect, I thought he and his mum were enemies from the way they spoke to each other. Plus I hate the author comments about Africa. Anyways what is a Chinese novel without an insultive remark about Africa? let me stop here….. Anyways all the villains are brain dead and reading this just a waste of my time….🚮

Little did everyone know, Stella was simply working multiple odd jobs all in an attempt to raise her son to live in comfort. Stella didn't seem she got affected by what other people called her or look at her until Conrad reached the other page.
