At the very least, you should make the chapters free up until he actually does something…. MC hasn’t bitten anyone, hasn’t leveled up, tried to help humans, penalized for killing zombies. I thought he was smart and prepared for apocalypse but his choices are so idiotic and intentionally does not take advantage of his system - forming a horde. There’s no way I‘m paying to find out if the mc improves because who knows if it will take 500+ chapters.

The mc acts like a hero and goody two shoes the entire time. He tells his Minotaur general to not kill humans and makes him do adventurer requests all for the sake of spreading his name. He attacks a drug trading black market because a random lady hates what drugs did to her son. All the villlan things he makes his minions do are useless to the plot and usually fail. Nightmares or sucubus minion failed to add any meaningful change to the plot. He apologizes and acts like a beta character to Emily even after she cuts his new succubus. Normally when this is the case like in Overlord - the adventurer Momon, There is a juxtaposition with a villan plot happening behind the scenes so Momom can fool the humans but in his case the mc is just a hero that happens to be the demon king.

I was so sick of Jordan’s uncle NTR Victoria and even getting married to her. Author why do you have to ruin precious relationships that were perfectly fine? Just introduce a new girl. It’s a fucking harem regardless of the bullshit Jordan says about only loving his wives. Jordan’s emotional iq is 0 and loves to test whether his girls will cheat on him and when they eventually do because he keeps testing them, it’s too late and he’s been cucked. The beginning of the novel was great but there was too much power creep at the end with overpowered powers like mind control and body possession and mutant powers. Then there was a huge useless arc on time travel that was entirely used to save Victoria but he ends up disguising himself as William and cucks himself. I’m telling you this mc just loves his women getting NTR / raped / cheated on….

The is basically a kid friendly kingdom building novel with no political intrigue or conflict. All the changes he does have no repercussions, conflict, and passes too easily. He introduces modern weaponry without any safeguard to espionage (he increases the budget for internal security and that’s all he did) but nothing gets leaked or stolen. It would had been better to introduce conflict when designs get stolen. He signs modern reform bills left and right like free education and agriculture reforms like he has infinite money and no concerns. There should had been more though put into this or rolled out progressively instead of all at once. There is no political backlash from the conservative faction (if they exist at all) from all the modern reforms rapidly being introduced. The romance feels like a middle school kiss and get pregnant love and very forced and rushed. The new queen is an innocent trophy wife with no character and introduces no drama or plot additions. He also allows her to choose if she wants to reject a political marriage between monarchs and the most advanced nation like it’s a middle school girlfriend breakup. It would had been better if she was a princess of an enemy nation or eastern countries so you have a vehicle to naturally move the plot to other countries with some drama and conflict. Also the pacing between the introduction of the terrorist attacks with the next reattempt is too long and readers don’t care about the terrorist group that killed the parents anymore. Add some conflict and don’t play it too safe.
