This is one of the best novels on this site. A unique take on the "Tower of God" setup, with good grammar and vocabulary (for webnovels). The main character is your typical cold slightly antisocial webnovel protagonist and the author points it out a bit too much (pls show don't tell), the behaviour however is consistent and with the growth of the main cast and him becoming more of a leader, the characters and their relationships evolve in a satisfying way. The powerscaling and progression make sense and are satisfying, especially when the main character can let loose in a fight and completes "challenges" with excellent grades. The novel mostly avoids annoying tropes and has an interesting underlying mystery (about the "digestors" the main antagonists) in the setting. There is a bit of a pacing problem where the challenges keep increasing in length, but because they are plot relevant it's not all that bad (very smart setting choice). Many similiar novels set a maximum of 100 floors and are on floor 3 by chapter 500. This novel avoids some of these pitfalls, but the potential bloat is one of the downsides of this kind of setting and the author should keep that in mind. tl;dr: Well written, frequently updated and with an interesting world and fun characters. This novel is a very engaging weak to strong power fantasy that I highly recommend. (It's almost as good as Supreme Magus) 4.9/5
