Haha okay well I'll try not to spoil too much. If anyone is reading this and doesn't want to know yet, scroll along!! The next arc is still about Qingqing. Somehow she gets transported back to her own world so the males have to find her and adapt to living in her world. The arc after that is all about grown up An an and her male. Spoiler for this one it's actually quite heartbreaking but romantic at the same time. I'm sorry if I've revealed more than you wanted to know.
I think she never once saw Winston as a lover. I remember reading her seeing him as more like a father figure which makes me cringe since she had a child with him lol. Winston was the best and deserved so much better than Qingqing, that's why I didn't want them to be together. It always felt like she was taking advantage of him and never acknowledging he's feelings for her. If I re wrote the story I would have introduced a new female from Qingqing's world. He would fall In love with her, have a female child and be that females only mate. He would go from being ridiculed and disgusted for his looks to becoming a powerful king that all the males envied ❤️
I totally get that as well. In my opinion Curtis is the only mate she is actually in love with. Parker is a close second but she loves him more like a brother. Muir is third although I'm not sure how she seems him entirely. Maybe as some sexy birdman she has a strong attraction to. Winston is unfortunaltey last as the mate she sees as her protector and not a lover. It sucks because Winston is my favourite male, but I never wanted him to get with Qingqing.
I wish Winston and An'an had more sweet moments together like this.
Blessing to the humans but my god the trouble she's causing the poor beast men! I would've chucked her ages ago 😂
You do realise several decades and seven decades are the same thing right? Sorry I didn't use the Exact word from the chapter but it still doesn't make sense.
That's why this part is confusing me. It says her soul has been buried for 7 decades but Mitchell is 35 so wouldn't it only be buried for 35 years...? 🤔
I disagree with the Muir kidnapping her part. Yes it was bad that he kept Parker at bay whilst she was pregnant but that was because she was close to accepting him which she did say before she found out about Curtis. Curtis didn't have a good start with Muir so you can understand why Muir felt the only way to be with Qingqing was to kill him. To be fair it wouldn't have been awful. Curtis kidnapped Qingqing, put her in dangerous situations, threatened her, forced his spousal mark on her before she even agreed to the relationship and even forces himself upon her. She doesn't say no and accepts mating with him but she always "voices" her displeasure about it in the chapters but never says no. In my opinion Muir is a redeemable character who only showed kindness and love to Qingqing. Curtis has been cold and cruel many times and shows that he is set in his ways unwilling to change. Muir is not the asshole of this story.
But Muir never really kidnapped her. She was always willing to go with him and it was always to get her out of dangerous situations. Curtis on the other hand did kidnap her against her will. Stockholm syndrome kicked in and he became her favourite mate 🙄
I know I just find it really cringe that she never tries to do anything for herself.
I know she wouldn't go through with it, it just annoys me how even now she doesn't realise how stupid she is and the danger she has put herself and her males in. She was warned not to socialise with them. Her son wants to mate with her. She cannot convince him he is not Curtis. Now seems like a pretty good time to listen to her male who was right from the beginning 😕
Yes but Curtis is quite understanding of Qingqing's feelings for her other males. Besides I think he'd be a bit more annoyed with Parker at the moment taking advantage of his injuries rather than Winston who she hasn't seen in a month and has literally gone through hell for her.
