Review as of Chapter 325 So this story is about a guy who can consume beast meat (later corpses in general)to get attributes points so he can make himself stronger, the problem I have with it is, his cheat is just boring and it hasn't got anymore functions even after 300 chapters, like if he could use the points on other people to help them it would've made it way more interesting. Character design is kinda meh as well,like none of the chars are even remotely that deep and there's almost no char development. Translation is fine if you've read a few MTL's before, if not then you might struggle to understand some parts. While it is a harem somewhat but, he's only slept with 2 when I stopped reading, and the harem isn't important or the focus of the story.

Managed to get to ch.40 before I had to just stop, the MC is just not that interesting at all and his personality is just flat, the units he recruits are murlocs, nagas,and sea pixies and are just about as uninteresting as it gets, when he recruited his first hero unit I thought there might be some actually dialogue but nope, she says less than 15 words in 20 chapters.

This might be the worse "goes back in time/reborn" stories I've ever read. So in the first 20 chapters he dies, goes back in time 5 years Restarts the VR game he was playing and in the first couple hours makes an enemy of the guild that controls 95% of the starting village he spawns in, then he proceeds to run like the little idiot he is and even starts throwing money at people chasing him to bribe them and is shocked when they just pick the money up and continue to chase him, eventually he gets away and logs out. Then forces some kinda nonsense that involve him moving his family to a new house that cost 16M but he can only pay 600k and after all that he logs back in and is still freaking level 1 at ch.20.

Well that's unfortunate because the rest looks pretty interesting but I prefer harem stories.

I stopped at ch..337 here's my thoughts: Pros: 1.Good variety of different types/races of women 2.Love the dialogue between chars, 3.R-18 scenes are pretty well done.( kinda wished you'd had more group scenes though,I only remember 2 up till I quit) 4.The general interaction between chars is really well done. Cons: 1.time moves way to slow, like at ch.240 barely a week has passed since ch.1 2.Some of the earlier women like Penny, O'lee, and Gwenth seem to just been forgotten. 3. most of his family (all but his "mother") are just annoying to outright awful chars, the "guides" and Winds Of Change and almost as bad. 4.The whole thing with Virgo/Sage/MC kink was just unnecessary and the Cancer/Scorpio/MC was even worse. What finally got me to just stop was you talking about turning Fate and Murphy (both males) to females so they can go with him to the harem planet and just move in, like you'd been better off and just going all in and making all chars but the MC female, instead you got several males gods that can watch the MC at any given time no matter what he's doing or who he's with.

While I'm not a fan of all the girls leaving just like that but maybe it'll help speed up the story some since this Torrian arc started around chapter 240.

Wait you used the word "fertile" but as women in this world don't seem to be able to give birth the natural way, are any of them considered " fertile"?

Yeah tbh this kinda killed my will to continue reading, but at least he ruined it early and not after a few hundred chapters.

The MC is named Ethan so I doubt he's Chinese and you can tell from how the first female is described and hows she's dressed, the author seems to be going more towards Japan fan service style rather than Chinese conservative jade beauty style.

I couldn't disagree more, some of the stories I liked the most and read the longest were MC that were OP from the start but other aspects of the stories have to be good too though.

While the MC's class is one of the cooler and interesting classes I've ever seen it this genre and the harem is always welcome but the bland dialogue, subpar world building, and the almost minimal description in everything, just makes this extremely boring to read. I also prefer the characters to dress more conservatively in public ( especially main characters in the story) , which makes that Lickity char the final nail in the coffin for me.

I thought all the dungeons were instanced based so you could only see your party members?

I'm like you but I only made it to chapter 250 before I skipped and read the last chapter and it made me wished I'd never starting reading it to begin with.

So I manage to get to ch 240 and here's my thoughts ........So this story is about a guy who just sits at home (usually in just one chair) for years because his system gives him better and better rewards the longer he stays in one place. The problems with that is the MC never takes action unless people literally comes to his door, every other time he's recruiting disciples so that when they do something cool out in the world, the system rewards him because he's their master. Another problem is that in like 11 disciples only 2 are female, the 1st and 11th ones. Like it would actually been a pretty good story if since he can't leave home,he could've just got a wife or 2 , had some kids and raised them up, in that case the MC could've been one of the very few to actually see his kids everyday while they were young.

With any luck after this Asura Ancient Land arc is over with, this Qin Ying char will either change back to a man or just fade into the background.
