I hope that even though the RA is going to take the mech it will at least stay with the Bluejay fleet. That way the RA gets what they want by being able to keep the mech and Ves is still able to study and learn from the mechs growth.

I wish when authors add exp into stories and show amounts they would put some thought into it. If lvl 5 takes 100 exp, 9 1000 exp, and 14 4500 exp, 5000 exp shouldn’t be enough to go from 9-14.

No, 10exp for killing one and 50exp for having killed 2. The 100exp is for clearing the dungeon.
