Secondly, even if it was not, Jeremiah gaslighted Esme countless times. Sorry, he is gentle and all that but I don't like him or anyone in Norwell family (except Lucy) cause they almost made Esme go into split-personality mode by all the lies they fed her. Jeremiah also low-key thought that Esme was not enough to be sent to heaven so no, I don't like him but I also don't support infidelity. But I don't think there was cheating anywhere in the picture here. Esme rejected Aleister's advances when she did not have memories. All along, with or without memories, by her heart, body, and soul, she remained loyal to Aleister, her first legit fiance so yes

um author, if those jaw-dropping scenes were not up to the mark, where exactly did you set the bar? | don't know why you keep saying that you don't write it well. You always nail the sm*t, sad scenes, and fluff in my opinion and you have a degree in the plot twist section. Why author why?😭😭😭

Let's not mention his silver hair🔥🔥 Cardan has an anti-hero thing going on and I love the way Lucy puts him in his place🔥🔥 Al and Es. Need I speak about these two? Leo is a main character in himself. But I think Luciana has already redeemed herself by being a genuine friend to be Esme and she is somehow cute now, unlike how snobby she used to be in past. I like her. As for Cardan..ahem. he is hot. But that apart, I badly want him to redeem himself😭 Both of them were just pawns of circumstances. I think they are not that bad

And I appreciate you forbidding us from buying the privilege because I was just about to do that. I get that. modern and historical and all that. But you know, someone who is capable of discussing divorce, is perfectly capable of discussing what he wants ( if she wants to know what he wants). Instead of asking if he wants a divorce, she could have easily asked him what he wants. In the end, everyone has a different POV. People with trauma aren't capable of asking for divorce either(in many books). So, the thing differs. But since Maxi is capable of asking this, she could have asked that.
