for one, armor is quite restrictive in the movements which are needed for such roles unless you want to be a nonmoving turret for the enemy to target, secondly, mages arent exactly known for their strength, and armor, specifically metallic ones HEAVY. most mages would rather spend more time studying their incantations and stuff rather than working out their bodies.

bro he has 'friends' he can ask for help. smartest decision he could've done is ask Aisha's group for help, ask them to meet up after a hunt, return 'by himself' and if they try to do something again they show up to intimidate them. literally only need to do it onece maybe twice and make sure to return before Aisha's group to let the "threat" of them be looming with him

its a fun read to turn your brain off to. after they finish the envy arc the authors start retconning established lore and the the end it becomes a big mess of how certain shit works and what is happening. talking about the ending, it is a stinking hot pile of garbage. the main character isnt even part of the final fight. how in gods name do you mess shit up that hard?? and literally how can the 7 families still exist if fucking gluttony can just eat the other sin with literally no defensive mechanism for it to be stopped? for christ sake zombie maxed out his superbia and was still eaten like it was nothing. thats all i say, read it if you want, i recommend reading till the first reset if you can stomach the mc being a servant. and i highly dont recommend reading the ending bc my god was that aweful

for the people asking why we feel this is cringe. What's cringe is not what's happening, its how it was written that's cringe. for one its too long for something "trivial for other books, usually resolved in a few sentences" yet at the same time too short to make it truly an emotional moment, it should've spanned a few chapters(in the background) where mc is trying to distance himself yet his mother keeps trying to get closer and figure out whats wrong till it come to a boiling point and the confrontation happens. instead, the whole thing is brushed off by a few sentences and then the confrontation happens, making the emotional beats hard to follow, making it much more cringe than it should be. and currently, the dialogue is awful, its most redeeming quality is its readability. the mc's monologue is 10x better than the conversations the characters have. for the ones who want ruthless mc's go read them then, tf you still doing over here

you are right but you have to see it from the mc's perspective. he wanted to transmigrate to a "weak body". the weak body was in this case nearly dead one with no hope to live. yet the mc doesn't know that, he only thinks he just possessed a weak kid
