I think it's a massive amount. For just 50 war souls you can get help of earthly saint to become spirutalist. WW just got almost 1000 times that by just killing this women + some low level ascendants and mass kill on star core cannon fodder.

Idea of showing this back story was ok, but it's taking to long from main plot line and chapters like this especially just make it more boring. Hope it will end soon

From content of book I think it's like this: 1.Damien hero 2.Damien turns into devil cause of god manipulations and kill almost all humans 3.Regrets his actions and allows himself get captured 4. Stays few years in prison/got expermients on himself 5. Waifu squad comes to rescue,all dies except Sophie(crippled girl, childhood friend) 6.Damien wants revange but Sophie convinced him to let it go 7.MC and waifu go into hiding, he starts liking her as women and they become couple-> she gets pregnant 8.They hide in woods, close to Natashia home 9.Now come soldiers and kill Sophie 10. MC after this rush into full revange mode, Natashia gonna follow him, when he finally will be ready to stop this and try like her she is going to die from what I remember 11. Than is cliff scene, maybe something will happen in between but it will not be anything important

Triton = Reva? Triton already said he lost his mother when he was young just like her, same cultivation level almost, same laws, hate for emperor, mc feeling of familiarity and Triton calling him friend( is already one with Reva).
