They are saying that 1 year is not enough to accomplish almost anything long term, at least by today's political standards. They absolutely would need longer terms if that position were meant to do anything other than appease the masses.

It was more an empty title right now than a real position of power, as this hot potato of leading a planet changed country hands every year. It was one of the decisions voted when the Earth Government was founded to share responsibilities and stabilize the world after the previous war.

semi-spoilers, but forgot to mention that the writing quality is top tier. Like that description of the mountain in the first trial was just... *chefs kiss*

I just read through all the available chapters that I could and I cannot state enough how much I appreciate that the author has been able to maintain the stakes. A problem I have found through many novels like this is that the characters outpace everything around them in power from one battle and never really have to face real struggle ever again. The author has been able to maintain a high amount of tension throughout the entire novel so far and the main character ACTUALLY FACES SETBACKS. Like I don't know why this is such a problem with novels with systems but they seem allergic to having their characters actually lose things when they make mistakes. Also, world-building has been top-notch so far with really interesting lore bits dropped here and there if you pay attention. Definite recommendation from me.

I had a lot of fun reading through the first 40 chapters of the novel. The novel's concept is cool and the author has been doing it justice so far.

Ah, so you weren't the first person I responded to, my mistake. That doesn't change the fact that you voiced disagreement with my initial statement and thus makes my rebuttal just as valid to you as the other commentator. Also please learn to proof read, your English is abhorrent.

Yes, you did. Do not try and argue the semantics of "all" vs "every", it just means that you have nothing of substance to rely on to make your claim valid.

you made the encompassing statement of "all" mothers, meaning that no, I don't need to meet more to call bs on your statement. The two bad ones (not mine, she is great and I am thankful that she is so) that I have had the displeasure of meeting are more than enough to make your statement false.

Ah well, having all of this already written makes for a great read to bing through since it actually gave us details about things other than the protagonist. Sorry waiting took away from your enjoyment.

really nice way to get world building for things that we likely won't be able to see until a couple hundred chapters down the line.

Check the first paragraph of this chapter. How have so many people here lost the ability to read.

When Garralosh tried, when she reached far back, into the depths of her mind, she can remember a different time, when she wasn't a creature of the Dungeon, she'd been something else, soft and pink, vulnerable and weak.

Its all up to personal preference but, in my experience, it is true that novels that don't have strong Mc's generally require the author to be much more creative than "My numbers are bigger than yours so gg".

    You’re wrong.,,

Like me, Tiny is a tier four monster, not to mention the beneficiary of multiple special evolutions. His strength is absurdly high and thanks to having actually spent some Biomass and skill points, his combat effectiveness is only climbing. The Double Crocs are tier three monsters, and there is little chance they have received the level of evolution, or had access to the wealth of Biomass, that Tiny has been able to enjoy.
