but if people found out he could do that chances of people trying to capture and turn him into a slave would be high I think because he can't make an object to just be like it's something he found he has to personally do the rune on someone
Logically speaking, if he created a permanent rune out of Detection, he would develop skills similar to the rune itself. He would probably still have to use mana to use the detection skill. He didn't know if the mana cost would be the same or if it would decrease. However, it wouldn't hurt to try.
