It is not entirely due to pollution or anything else but humans growing inability to evolve. Well, pollution is one of the factor of the growing inability of humans to evolve but there are also various other factors other than pollution. For example, Deepawali is one of the major festivals of Indian region, specially in Hindu society but all other religions says that Hindus are making pollution and glaciers are melting due to Hindus celebrating Deepawali rather than various missile test, wars, nuclear tests, etc. They are into blaming each other and not growing together and focusing on themselves rather than commenting on each-others festivals and way of living and trying to show that they are superior to them. - garou15dCommented

Many countries totally supported India like Russia, Germany and many other. The USA and Japan and many other countries border the Pacific Ocean were trying to save themselves because of various earthquakes and tsunamis.
