Linley is born on the day of the Yulan Festival? Did I forget that? Feel like I should’ve known that already

Does anybody else rereading this recall this soul sensing ability or whatever coming up during future combats after Linley reaches Saint level? Seems like a pretty misleading comment if it just comes up here and is never mentioned again. I can’t guarantee this but if ever after Linley reaches Saint level there are issues of not being able to see during a fight, that might be worth noting. Now that I think about it I think I remember one moment where there was a concern with sensing around themselves (other characters present as well). Won’t go into detail so as to not spoil anything.

Anybody else confused as to how Bebe is still unaware of grandpa Doehring’s existence? (it’ll be more obvious later on, but somehow Bebe has never noticed him) Even if you say that Linley talks to each of them in his mind through different channels or whatever, Bebe should have questions as to what Linley is doing sometimes. How did Linley start sculpting? Who is giving him tips on earth elemental magic? For a magic beast companion who is with him all the time, not to mention literally in his head, Bebe sure knows pretty little about him. I know grandpa Doehring can come out of the ring as a glowing ghost, does Bebe never notice Linley like staring at the empty air right next to him? Or I’m sure Linley has actually talked to grandpa Doehring too, nobody will make me believe that he only talks to him in his own head, especially not if grandpa Doehring hops out of the ring. And also, it was mentioned that Bebe’s growth was “hampered because having a soul connection was weighing him down or something”. I don’t think this ever goes anywhere though, (yes I’m rereading) and it’s not like that was an assumption made by Linley or something, it was a statement made from the narrator’s perspective. If anybody is still reading this book even though it’s been like 3 years since its release here, pls help me.
