This novel is in a sense the classic cliche of zero to hero but with a much faster pace at the beginning for him to get the power ups. His achievements in the beginning, like his first kill felt kinda meh. The reason for that is that anybody that would kill at that time would have received such power ups but somehow only he got it. There are some very dumb desicions the background survivors make that are just plain stupid, that were taken just because the author have to have them happen for the plot to take some shape. The way the MC behaves sometimes is just cringe. The female ice lady is also so cheesy and “smart”. That sometimes I have to take a break mid-chapter to take just erase the cheesymess and cringe writing of what happened. I just read this to pass time when I want to shut my brain off, but sometimes even that is too much when reading certain chapters

I think this preludes to some of her visions. Maybe she saw something about Sunny or Neph that either or both of them would cause great desaster and is allowing them to live or not warn the other about it. Idk just guessing…

I think that the storm will actually work in his favor. Think about his move Ragnarok(if I am not mistaken). He could use his knowledge to ionize the enemies troops and incite the storm they were bringing to hit their own troops since they are covered in metal as well. He could not ask for a better position to be in actually. Lightning does not discern friend from foe when it gets going

Why not make the portal open below the centipede and cut it in half by closing instantly. Of allow one of its schyphes like claws to go through the portal and impale itself ? if it has the strongest defense and the strongest attack. Just make it hurt itself. Easier said then done though….

This introduces a very interesting variable to Emery. He could start now absorbing some of the mana/ energy from these creatures and gain a good power booster or replenish his mana whenever needed. Specially after or when fighting a tough foe. This new ability comes in handy now that he is always in need of spirit force to drive his mana abilities and level up on the magical side. Let’s gooo

Well based on the rules, by having some members of each group taking down one nest the points for the whole group will still be rewarded. Despite the fact that only one membe was there to take down the best every one will still receive the points, or am I mistaken ? That would be a ni e loophole where they can maintain a nice pace for the teams that are not making enough points. Or the points go to teams proportionally, like if 10 members are required to take down a nest and 5 are from team 1 then 2500 points go to team 1. Still, pretty neat

Am I the only one who things he is missing out a lot from being here. I know he has learned a couple of skills but I think he has barely reaped any benefits from being a privilaged acolyt. He has been gone for such a long time and has bare used any of those benefits yet. Getting anxious he will be left behind.

I see, with furball attaking hades he can get a participation reward on the battle if hades is defeated. So he can get another underworld class without having to physically be there. his summons can do that for him. very smart. I could also be very wrong
