I wouldn't call this blackmailing becausing the end result is still the same. I would call it having mercy. Quinn could have not bothered with giving him a way out and just gone with the second option. But he chose to leave that man's reputation in tact.

I don't like how Quinn thinks he is invincible. He could have very easily dodged that spell given how fast he can move, however, he chose to tank it. I hope he learns that he should be more prudent and never underestimate other people's magic.

The sins are Quinn's emotions amplified. Since he detests using a wand, Greed-Quinn may not seek out the Elder wand. But he may either be more greedy for more magical power or more greedy for relationships.

The last couple sentences shouldn't be possible, because it would mean that future-Quinn turned back the time of the last couple hours and placed present-Quinn just before he looked at RECON. So present-Quinn technically doesn't belong in this timeline.

". . . I should take care of this as soon as possible," he muttered to himself— something told him that the faster he got rid of it, the better it'd be.

Pretty sure Voldamort can make an educated guess as who the person is based on the timing of the first appearance at the village and the small clues everywhere.

'My dorm bed is better,' he thought. 'I should have brought it with me. . . I wonder if the elves would have tried to take it back. . . maybe I'll try it next year.'

All this means is that Quin is not in perfect control of his magic. He hates how his wand can draw such a strong magical response.

Is he right in his fear? Maybe, or maybe not. He might be right and his wandless progress take a hit if he picks up the crutch, or maybe it's all a thing in his head, and nothing will actually happen.

The whole process is still faulty. Why channel the information into your own eye. Why not put a rune into an object and bypass your brain? This is a very dangerous method.

"Yeah! I knew it!" exclaimed Quinn loudly, "I knew my magic wasn't faulty! My magic can never be faulty," he then laughed, "take that, Madam Pomfrey," the matron was, of course, not present.

If Quinn tells people he went to that shop. Then they may link Quinn with what happened inside that shop.

"Ah yes, it's an old lady, this one," said Quinn, "I brought it from Aarhus, Denmark. A real bargain, if I say so myself." He didn't pay a single knut for it.

This also tells Dumbledore that it may have been Quinn who killed the trolls during Quinn's second year. Which may incurr that Quinn knew powerful dark magic at such a young age.

Everyone in the judge's box momentarily removed their eyes from the arena and glanced at Quinn. They found it rare for a student of Hogwarts to not talk about dark arts with fear or disgust. Albus Dumbledore, the poster boy of anti-dark magic, had all but erased all traces of dark magic from the Hogwarts ground.

"Yes, I have read about that. The older a Veela gets, the more potent their Allure gets," said Quinn, "Your grandmother's Allure must be quite strong for her hair to be able to be used in your wand. I would love to sit down with her to ask some questions."

Create a sword similar to Gryffindor's, that can change length/shape so that he can efficiently kill monsters in the earth vault. If he compliments his sword magic/skills with his body magic, we can all imagine how much damage he can cause without expending much magical energy.

Ron has 5 older brothers who are really smart and excel as one thing. Ron hasn't found his calling.

Two days later, Harry, Ivy, and Hermione walked into the Great Hall for breakfast. Since Harry had become the fourth champion, the golden squad hadn't been having a good time. Ron had left them. The Hufflepuffs gave Harry glaring looks whenever he passed them by. Slytherins snickered at them. Ravenclaw also looked at Harry with judgmental eyes.

We finally see some plot armour.

"I don't need to patrol physically, Professor," grinned Quinn and pointed to his forehead. "I have layered my entire area with wards. If someone walks inside my area, they will trigger the wards." Quinn's office was on the edge of the west block, so Quinn would know if someone walked five meters west past his office.
