No lie this is no longer romantic, this is toxic and turning physically abusive. They are no longer a couple, they are just 2 extremely proud people pretending to care for each other. If they were real at this point I would just tell them to get divorced. They are better off without each other. Max isn’t ready to be in a relationship and Riftan has a lot of emotions to sort out.

Maxi is getting so annoying, because of weak people like her the strongest fighters get injured or end up dying because they try to save the weak ones. It always happens, she would only be putting Riftan in danger because 1 he wouldn’t be able to focus because she paralyzes and or faints and 2 she never follows orders. How many times has she almost died in this story?? Waaaaaaay too many times and poor Riftan has to come and get her out of it. She can’t follow orders and she always thinks she knows best. She is going to end up getting Riftan killed because of her stubbornness.

She is stupid, her knees always give out when she sees a troll yet she wants to go to a city full of then 😒 I’m sorry but she has always been a damsel in distress and I can guarantee she will find a way to get herself almost killed once again in this mission.

I remember reading the manga and thinking well he was still a gentleman and didn’t forced himself on her. I understand it was the first time for both but he just turned to a beast and didn’t care what she felt. No wonder Max was mortified when she knew she had to do it again when he came back. This left a bad taste in my mouth.
