Honestly. I didn't consider that. But you are right, blue removed a good tool from the dwarves. The right thing would be for her to give the leagacy to one of them. But, none of the dwarves would ever ask that. Not even Naka. Despite everything, they all respect and like Hera and Blue too much to even consider something like that. And Blue was just worried about her family. She just wanted to protect them, and the legacy would be helpful for it. So giving it back to them never crossed anyone's minds.

No, but they are a monomorphic species. meaning that both genders look the same. There is virtually no way to distinguish a male harpy from a female one. Unless you were to get VERY intimate with them.
A few minutes later, Faenethe appeared. He was one of the Children of the Sky, a harpy. Wings instead of arms and legs that were very similar to Nimbus' and his clothes were much lighter, being only a simple pair of black pants made out of loose silk. He had yellow eyes and brown feathers covering his back. His hair was the same color but it was just like any other sentient species. He was the extraction specialist. Because it wouldn't work. even with the footage, and all the people behind it saying it's true. it's easy to say 'that's fake.' in our world that already happens more than we would like, imagine if its in a place where anyone can start making actual illusions/holograms with magic. The thing you mentioned about war is also very important. For the non human species, that is just fact. It's not worth to save one person at the cost of a war. Especially if this person has a way of dealing with this

It accelerates the process, but even if they are exposed to the cure on its pure form it takes a while for that to happen if they fail here, it would happen in a couple of days
Looking to the side, Hera saw Helena on top of the ant queen holding a dozen ropes made out of shadows and holding the monster in place while Bonnie, Shane, and Mylo wailed on the beast. Before the Empress was even able to join, they managed to cut the creature's head off and turned to the left, where Reynara was watching them. Or at least Hera assumed that was Reynara. It had a bipedal body that was completely purple, as if it was a living ooze. The face still resembled the huntress but was also completely purple, with lighter veins glowing to frame the eyes, nose, and mouth. She was able to see the element of mana. Iit's very close to being sensitive but not quite. Also this is what she thinks about herself, usually we overlook some of the things that we are good at

Deppends on the event. If it was something big at once, it's possible that the dungeon is there. If what happened was a series of small things not so much. Also, dungeons cannot replicate legacies properly. They can only make aproximations, which make it hard to connect the dots.

I get that, but it did feel 'fair' to have wolf Kobolds using that as name for their teams. Even if that had almost nothing to do with hirearchy.
There were some small pleasantries and condolences before they started to talk business. Ferunir was the one who changed the subject first, "My brethren, these humans came to our aid. They are well versed in the treachery displayed by the Dragon Kin. They shall take the day to assess the battlefield. Not quite. The ones near the wall break were above level 80, but this one was just level 8.

Thanks for the praise! I'm always worried that my wiriting doesn't show an evolution. But hearing that it does even from this early one made my day. Seriously. About Hera, I understand where you are coming from. And this was somewhat intentional. The idea was for her to be someone 'avarage' and clueless at first. and grow because of her experiences. She being clueless was intended, but I might have gone a bit overboard. If it helps, she does get better, and my favorite character is introduced in this arc.
She let out a lengthy sigh. Hera never expected the explorer's test to be easy, but this seemed unreasonable. On the other hand, she was in the middle of a forest that came right out of the books she read when she was little. Inspect is not an absolute truth skill. it gives you a better explanation of that particular item as long as it is avaliable to you. So if it is an item that you got from a dungeon or something, the system gives all the information. But if you are using on what someone else made, you only have the amount of information that is avaliable to you. For instance, if you grab a poisoned bottle of water without knowing, [Inspect] won't warn you that is poisoned. But if you have skill, or the knowledge on how to identify poisoned water, then that changes, and the [Inspect] will show you 'Poisoned'
The skill was more useful than Hera imagined. Being able to buy and share the information could be a lifesaver. Not only in the MAZE but in the day to day life as well. - Perizou5mthReplied to DesertBerry

On a sense for the species as a whole I agree, but if you were to ask a person' Hey would you want to have babies by laying eggs?' that's a hard mental barrier to cross. Especially if you are already going through a lot of changes.

I was not aware of that difference. Then yes this was just a shock. For normal people it would have some lasting damage, but for anyone who uses mana they will be able to recover eventually.
Nethe flapped his wings, creating almost a screen of feathers in the path. Daskka followed right along in her black mist form along with Hera, who was holding Livy's battle axe form like an umbrella. The Empress had the Leviathan covered in Ocean Elemental Strength, which doubled the power of water spells and attacks. Triggering the Leviathan's Torrent skill, Livy suddenly spat out a jet of water powerful enough to push all the guards back, making the ones with shields slam against everyone in the back. To finish that up. Lysandra jumped ahead and launched a concentrated beam of electricity imbued with a powerful sleep spell. Thanks to all the water that now covered the corridor, all of the guards were electrocuted and passed out. this is a case of 'the grass is always greener on the other side,' Shane can make some stupidly powerfull things, like a tunnel in just a few minutes without actually having the knowledge on how to make a tunnel. But I will say that, unlike what she doesn when making tunnels, or her bombs, enchanting living things have many more limitations. For instance, enchanting her skin to be indestructible would make her skin so heavy that her bones would collapse under the weight, so she can't do that. (and overlaping multiple effects interfere with each other about 99% of the time canceling both out)

Usually I keep quiet on those ones, to let people theorize, but I think I should clarify this one. The self replicating structure is not something created by the curse. Yes it does use something similar, but it existed before the curse was created. It's another tool that the curse uses, and it can, potentially, led Hera to recreate it, but it would take a lot more than just this for that to be possible.
Hera tried to use her own mana to replicate those effects but on a smaller scale. First, making the small particles interconnected by that web and then spreading them out, but not only that, she also tried to create more of those tiny balls. It wasn't as easy as it looked because the mana was coming out in different forms, which made it hard to manipulate, even harder than normal mana, which was already difficult enough to handle. She also tried to replicate the loose strands, but the mana would just leak from those spots, and forcing them to stop or trying to make them search for more mana just caused the entire structure to unravel so quickly that it was scary. Thinking there was no way to continue with such a small sample, Hera turned around and walked across the frozen battlefield.
