Oh no the plot is too complex for simple-minded webnovel reader. Then again, I'm sure it will disappoint me if it actually gets picked. I only come to webnovel a few times a month to have a laugh at the trial read summaries these days.

This sounds cool, but noooo, worldwide lord gets more 'awaits'. If the average IQ worldwide is set to be 100, it has to be something like 75 on webnovel.

Synopsis is not really a synopsis but it sounds good. That being I'm really disappointed pointed in humanity that this has 300~ awaiting and absolute garbage has 1.2k awaiting.

It's been years since I read Reincarnator as a teenager, and current me would not rate it, hmm top 10, probably lower, I haven't made a tier list so can't say. Eventually you learn enjoyment is subjective. RI simply doesn't tick the boxes that I enjoy from a book. Sure, it goes in depth in plenty of things, but the dialogue is not vibrant, I can't expect something unexpected from a character. Not in the sense of a decision, in the sense of personality. As for world-building, actually all the novels I like have good world-building. RI is great in that regard, it does it's job, but it's not "the best". (aka not unique) Therefore the aspects that I don't enjoy are the decision breaker.

Ruthless doesn't make for a very interesting read. It murders the dialogue aspect and makes a character morally one-dimensional. You are left with the surrounding context that led to that, to ponder upon, and not much else. For me a novel that includes numbers as a ranking (power levels) is hard to reach my top. The battle aspect in RI suffers in the same way as TCOSP. RI worldbuilding is, present, but not a masterpiece. RI lacks... depth.

When I see someone go "[img=recommend][img=recommend] can't wait this seems interesting, raw?" on a trial read novel, it just sips a part of my soul. While the synopsis is like "Everyone transmigrated onto Earth 2. I check-in to receive new systems right from the start. Day one, receive hint system! Day two, receive dating system! Lin Kok: 'Please, I don't have any more systems!' While everyone is busy surviving. Lin Kok has conquered the three realms and made out with the elf queen!" Is this the full extent of humanity? What about our society? Do people actually enjoy this? Do they do anything else apart from reading these... literary massacres? Star rating forms the shape F.

I spent like 10 minutes analysing your text. I could find like no logical coherency to any of the previous discussion in your first paragraph. Either the meaning of the saying "an eye for an eye" eludes you, or you're trying to draw some kind of parallel that "an eye for an eye" can be both good or bad? As for your second paragraph... you seem to be implying that it is different depending on the person who says the saying? I disagree, words are defined, provide an example of the saying "an eye for an eye" being used outside it's primary definition to disprove this notion. If you attempted to imply that a criminal and a bystander/victim differ in some way, I disagree, the saying remains unchanged regardless of the surrounding context, regardless of how justified it feels quantified by emotions. It's been many months, perhaps years, since something decent on trial read. This is it. So far, it has been consistent in its quality. It short, it would be Western Fantasy X SCP foundation. Also Sword of Dawnbreaker was a banger. It's been months since I added something from trial read onto my library. This time I added two, this, and the two worlds bullshit. The other one started out strong yet quickly turned into garbage (first female character introduced had her attractiveness described, jade long her yada yada; MC was also idiotic). This novel has none of that, no. This novel is GOOD. I shall now sacrifice you to the True Sun 🔪☀️.

My friend studies at Harvard so I actually know some of the backstory for this. The MC accidentally made hand contact with a girl while passing assignments. The infamous bully was so offended he punched him and started beating him up, but he was putting up a good defense. The professor, my friend and other coursemates gasped in shock. They couldn't stand for this injustice so they intervened. He didn't stand a chance against them all.
