Since the developers were shrewd as fuck and didn't tell anyone about this information, everyone chose a subclass at the start. Almost all of the players lamented in the mid and later game when they found out that you could only have access to some of the rarer subclasses if you didn't choose a subclass in the first place. - RaghavNaswa8mthCommented
