I usually despise romance as most authors just shove it down our throat just to force it to happen or enact some out of this world scenario that doesn’t make any sense to either the world setting or the characters personalities. Nothing makes me drop a book faster than horrible romance writing. However this is enjoyable and I can’t wait for more. Keep it up!

I really hope Nicks ideology falls flat on its face like immediately. I’m sick of hearing about it. It’s one of those things that sounds good on paper but will work out poorly in reality.

I’ve been reading your work since the early days of LITOW and I would think that after 2 amazing series prior to this, people would realize how great of an author you are. Your stories are among my favorite and some of the best on WN. Whereas it saddens be to see you have to get another job, I am glad the story will continue and I hope things work out for you. I’ll keep reading until the end and I hope someday you can come back to this full time.

Personally, I hope Nick is able to get it’s ability and that it’s something insanely overpowered. I’d also love to know where this place is in the world and that this dark place gets explained in the future since the sun lights up the entire world.

I know I’m going to be a minority here, but I hate the way the romance is progressing. Can you please make it more natural and not this forced nonsense that is going on? Michael and Alice have never been awkward together and now in like 4 chapters, they have all of the sudden developed this massive crush to the point they cant speak without stuttering. I know they’re still “working” on their feelings and all, but it may as well be a guaranteed ship with both of their current attitudes. Not to mention Danny’s little mind link trick. If Alice always thought that, there should have been more awkwardness for the entire story’s, not just these last few chapters out of nowhere. I think Maria thinking he’s cute is fine as that has already been hinted at and she’s not being weird, but it just feels like the romance triangle is being shoved down our throats needlessly just to force Michael into a relationship magically and conveniently now that Danny is back and nothing else is going on. Like one little conversation shouldn’t create all this. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind romance and personally I ship him with Maria, but please for the love of everything stop doing it this way and make it naturally progress.

The romance feels so forced to me. The story has been amazing in every other way but this just doesn’t make sense to me.

I know you’re trying to keep us all in suspense, but there is entirely to much jumping around the last few chapters. It makes it really hard to get immersed in the story when it jumps around too much.

Thank you for bringing us such a great story! Also, thank you for not forcing some BS romance in this story. Shang did not need it. Can’t wait for your next book!
