All feelings about who I ship her with aside, I’m really happy that she told him flat out that even though she is will to try dating him she doesn’t have feelings for him right now. It’s not wrong to try to see someone in a new light, but if she were to not tell him where she currently stands it would be a pretty bad move.

Butler+grandfather is the true ship of this novel. They are practically already an old married couple.

Step away from the dark thoughts ledge!

Story isn’t bad so far, but it sort of bothers me that she doesn’t seem to care at this point about not having her child anymore. Not being with the ex means that kid won’t be born and I feel like she should be concerned if not devastated by that as a mother.

As a plot point its great, but I’ve worked in haunted houses before and the pretty much universal rule of thumb is the actors aren’t supposed to touch the guests. But fictional worlds can have their own rules, so no regrets.
